ME

Passionate About Inspiring Others

I have a creative background and I believe this has helped me to achieve academic success. I've always been interested in Theater and the reason why characters and humans behave the way that they do. As we ask in the theater about a character: "What is your motivation?" . What stake do they have, what involvement to they have in the outcome of a dramatic action? Once I started to ask myself these questions of myself in my studies and look through the lens of Theater to see my world, I understood it a lot better and I learned more. 


My passion for Theater and my desire to understand mysteries of universal truths suited itself well to the study of both Math and English. Later in graduate school, I studied the multiple intelligence theory put forth by Howard Gardner and the Education lab at Harvard. This as well as Viola Spolin's and her teacher Neva Boyd's work in the importance of play in learning, has lead me to create a unique system of finding people's best learning styles. I balance lessons with care and fun.
