Fun and Focused tutoring

Fun and Focused Tutoring

Hello! Welcome and I invite you to take a deep breath. I believe in you and your success. We all tend to remember information when we are relaxed and supported. When we can relate the information in front of us to something important to us, then we really can learn it.

These are questions that I ask during our first session:

What are your interests, hobbies, passions, and goals in life?

What are your challenges in the material?

What are your strengths both in academics and in life?

I want to know. This is the key to finding the joy in learning.  I believe that everybody is unique and that every single person has the ability to learn naturally built into him or her. I will be your cheerleader and coach and I will push your skills to the next level.

I offer in person or online tutoring sessions and group test prep sessions. I have a Masters Degree in Education and Drama and I have been a professional tutor for over 13 years. I am a Massachusetts certified teacher.

I'm happy to bring what I've learned about learning to you or your child in a fun and focused way! Book your first no risk session today. Your money back on your first session if you are not satisfied (must express this in writing up to 3 days after session)!

"Knowledgeable, Well Prepared, and Focused Tutor

My daughter had her first tutoring session with (Elizabeth) Sky today and came away with an enthusiastic thumbs up. She said (Elizabeth) Sky helped her focus her studying and she now feels more directed with Sky's support."      - Alyssa in New Salem, MA

"Patient Tutor

Elizabeth is very knowledgeable in the math that she teaches. She works very well with my 12 year old and is extremely patient with him. She gives a better understanding of the math that is being taught in class and breaks it down to a level where he can understand the basic concepts."    -Tricitia in Springfield, MA

"Very Helpful

I saw her once a week prior to taking the SATS and was able to improve my score. She was always prepared with different readings and materials during our tutoring sessions. She was very nice and fun to be around. I would recommend her as a tutor."
