Comedy Improv supports students' creativity and problem solving ability while teaching listening and leadership skills. This is a fun way to practice public speaking and to be more confident overall. Students often increase empathy and social awareness through work with improvisational techniques. Teacher Sky Halm has studied and taught many forms and functions of improv throughout her 20 year teaching career. She has an M.F.A. in Drama and Education and a Massachusetts professional teaching license for Drama (for all grades). She has taught with The Springfield Conservatory of the Arts, The Montessori School of Northampton, The Summer Institute for the Gifted, and many independent venues. She loves the concept of fun learning and has made a point to incorporate both aspects while teaching. Please book an appointment today!
